Mary founded Transpectus Health to serve clients doing business in government-funded healthcare including Medicare, Medicaid, and dual-eligible markets. With over 20 years of deep experience consulting, starting, and running successful ventures, Mary developed a reputation as the go-to expert to help solve the industry’s toughest problems. Her advice is sought out by C-Suites and Boardrooms across top US healthcare companies.

Mary earned her Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) from UCSF, a Masters of Public Health (MPH) from UC Berkeley and a BS in Biochemistry from UC Davis.

Danielle Pavliv, Principal

Danielle is an accomplished leader in government-funded healthcare, with expertise in the areas of Medicare, Medicaid, dual eligibles, and healthcare reform. As a Principal with Transpectus Health, Danielle advises clients across the health care spectrum to solve tough problems by conducting policy analysis; project management, planning, implementation, and evaluation; market analyses and business strategy; and RFP development, writing and review.

Danielle earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in health policy from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.​

Kathy Gardner, Clinical Advisor

Kathy has over 25 years of experience in clinical operations leadership spanning both the provider practice setting and the payer environment. She brings deep experience in value based/ACO practice management models across Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial lines of business. As a Clinical Advisor with the Transpectus Health team, Kathy focuses on clinical program operations, case management and medical management efficiency, and bridging regulatory requirements with an efficient operations practice to deliver a patient-centered model of care and support.

 

Kathy earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Salem State College (BSN) and her Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Suffolk University.   

Kathy's experiences

  • Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for a large, full risk bearing provider network 

  • Developed clinical programs to serve over one million individuals

  • Represented the provider group with Acute Hospitals, nursing facilities, and other care delivery partners for collaborative program development
